It’s important that our rooms don’t feel corporate or overly ‘polished’. We are intentionally informal, and we hope we’ve created a place where you feel at home and able to stick things on walls, move the furniture… whatever suits your session. Our clients tell us that this sense of ‘permission’ is an important foundation for both learning & creative work.

Our goal is to create environments in which people feel comfortable and also energised. Spaces to ‘de-armour’ & break down barriers before challenging work can begin.

We build icebreakers into the design of our buildings – art and design as talking points, as well as areas to encourage collaboration and free breakout spaces.

Lots of venues claim to be flexible.

At wallacespace, we build flexibility and choice into everything we do. From our rooms, which are designed to be set up however you need, with whatever furniture works for your group. We’ll even change the furniture around midway through the day, with no extra charge. To our Ts and Cs, which are genuinely the most flexible in the business. Hold space with us for free and release it up 28 days before your event with no charge at all.

And most importantly, our attitude. We believe in human, can-do service, and you’ll have a team of people who’s sole goal is to ensure you have a successful day. We’re always on hand to help with last minute stuff, allowing you to focus your energies on getting as much out of your day as possible.

A stressful day can become a nightmare if your phone dies, you ladder your tights or you lose the sole from your shoe. We are here to help. From the free breakout spaces built into the design of all of our buildings, to the abundance of useful things we keep on hand, we try to think ahead to anticipate what you might need, and if you don’t have it, we’ll pop out to get it for you.

The easy going, can-do nature of the team at wallacespace only exists because 1) we have been doing this a long time and 2) we work tirelessly to improve our business. This is how we create our unique atmosphere which, our clients tell us, brings brighter thinking.

If you ask for a circle of soft chairs for 10, 2 flipcharts and a jammy Wagon Wheel on everyone’s seat ready for 8.30am, it will be done.

We understand that you need that time before a session starts to run through your notes, have a cup of tea and get prepared. We are open from 8am, come early if you want to, we’ll be on hand to help with anything you need.

We can store your materials ahead of time (and send them on afterwards).

We’re very well-stocked with the things you may need at the last minute, but we’ll always pop out for something if you need us to.

Our team are on your side, with a helpful, practical, can-do attitude.

In our experience, if it can go wrong, it will go wrong. And never is that more true than when it comes to technology.

We’ve been hosting meetings and events for many years. In this time we’ve seen use of technology in meetings evolve from fairly rare to commonplace.

Mostly this is a wonderful thing, giving people a chance to collaborate who would otherwise not be able to, but of course it can be frustrating when the tech doesn’t work as we want it to.

At wallacespace, we think carefully before investing in meetings technology, considering whether what will be easy to use and reliable, rather than cutting edge and current. Our friendly team of experts are on hand to help when things don’t go as expected and, importantly, we’ll test and plan to avoid things getting to that stage, wherever possible.

For our close facilitator friends, we are delighted to offer our memberspace network. We hope to support your business in return for the support you give ours.

Memberspace gives you access to our buildings so that you can plan and work in a productive environment as and when you need it.

It’s a thank you and a better option than the local coffee shop.

You’ll also be part of our recommended list of suppliers, putting your business in front of an impressive portfolio of potential clients.

But knowing that it can be useful to research ahead of a call (and that this research can be in the wee small hours), here are some FAQs that you may find useful.

Absolutely. Let us know to expect them and make sure they’re clearly labelled with your group name and we will make sure they are ready for you on the day of your booking. We can also arrange to send them on to you after your event.

We’re open from 8am and you are very welcome to join us anytime from 8, even if your session doesn’t start until later. For daytime bookings we close at 6pm, but if you have late or early access requirements please just let us know.

There is local parking around all of our spaces, but being in Central London it isn’t cheap. You can find information on parking for each of our buildings here – covent garden, st pancrasclerkenwell green + spitalfields.

Flipcharts, pens, post it notes, blu tak, highlighters, notepads, extension leads… if you need something specific just let us know and we’ll source it.

Of course! You’ll find blutak and masking tape in your room, we also have sticky flipchart paper available if you need it, just ask.

Absolutely. As long as the placement of the banner doesn’t interfere with any of our other clients, you are welcome to place a banner outside your room or in one of our communal areas.

We do, just bring your bike into reception when you arrive and we’ll keep it safe for you. We have showers with fresh towels and lots of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and other stuff, just ask when you arrive. We can also let you know where the nearest Boris bike stand is.

If you plan to have a very noisy session please let us know in advance and we will make sure you are placed away from other groups so you can make as much noise as you need to.

We will always try to accommodate everyone’s dietary requirements. Our standard lunch offering includes a meat or fish option and a veggie option, plus lots of choices of salads. Breakfast is similarly plentiful and we have gluten free breakfast + snack options as standard. If you are vegan, avoid certain foods or have an intolerance, let us know in advance so we can prepare something especially for you.

Our kitchen handles sesame, soya, nuts, peanuts, gluten, egg, dairy, fish + celery as well as other allergens. We also take deliveries from other companies who handle allergens, so we can never be 100% certain to avoid all traces of a particular ingredient. If you have a serious allergy we advise you to bring your own food.

That said, we’ll do our very best and our friendly chefs are very helpful, so let us know in advance if you have a particular requirement.

We don’t have designated prayer rooms, but if you need a room in which to pray during the day just let us know in advance and we will find you a space. The more notice you can give us, the better. Just give us a call on 020 7395 1265 or email ask@wallacespace.com.

If you need somewhere quiet to make a call, just come and let our front of house team know on the day. If we have room that isn’t being used we’ll point you in the right direction, otherwise we’ll help you to find a quiet spot in one of our breakout areas or caffes.

Of course! We love birthdays. The more notice you can give us the better, but we can always nip out for you on the day if you need something last minute.

Yes, yes and yes. We have a range of charging and connectivity accessories. Give us a call on 020 7395 1265 to check in advance that we have the one you need.

Absolutely! Our team are happy to print anything from boarding passes to last minute feedback surveys. Do bear in mind that if you have a lot of printing it can take a little time, so let us know as soon as you can what you may need.

We have plenty of stationery in every room and we aim to anticipate everything you may need. Our rooms come with plenty of notepads, pens, pencils, whiteboard markers, blue tac, scissors and post-it notes.

We don’t have designated breastfeeding room, but if you need a private space in which to express just let us know in advance and we will find you a space. The more notice you can give us, the easier we’ll find it to save a private space for you. Of course. We have superfast, free wifi, just ask for the password when you arrive.

Our team are experts on what’s around our neighbourhood, so if you have questions on anything from the nearest postbox or pharmacist, to where you can buy a decent glass of red, we can help advise on where, how far and even help you with arrangements where necessary.

We certainly can, just let your client manager know what you need and we can help you with arrangements. We can also offer pre-arranged exclusive dinners and drinks at wallacespace.
